Tragedy at Mumbai's Juhu Beach: 4 Boys Drown Ignoring Lifeguard Warning, 1 Rescued

The group of five boys ignored the lifeguard’s warning and entered the sea, resulting in the unfortunate outcome. One of the boys, Dipesh Karan, was able to hold on to a dangling rope near the jetty and was rescued. However, the search for the four missing boys had to be called off after five hours.

Juhu Beach was reportedly closed to the public due to the impact of Cyclone Biparjoy, and other coastal areas in Mumbai and Maharashtra were also declared closed. Despite these closures, the boys entered the sea, disregarding the lifeguard’s attempts to warn them.

Upon receiving information about the incident, a fire tender, Mumbai Police, and Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) workers arrived at the scene to assist in the rescue efforts.

It is a tragic situation, and the missing boys, Dharmesh Bhujiyav, Jay Tajbhariya, and brothers Manish and Shubham Bhoganiya, are all residents of the Datta Mandir area in Vakola, Santacruz East.

Survivor Dipesh Karan was sent back home after receiving medical attention, according to the police.
